Srinagar, March 29 (KNO): Non-Gazetted Employees Welfare Association of SKIMS, Soura comprising more than 5000 employees, on Sunday decided to donate their one day salary for the treatment of Covid-19 affected patients of Kashmir. The employees have conveyed their decision to the Director SKIMS, Soura Dr G A Ahanger.
“We have decided to donate our one day salary for the treatment of Covid-19 patients for the sake of humanity,” NGEWA president Ishtiyaq Ahmed Beig told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
NGEWA spokesman Shabir Hussain said that for the sake of humanity and keeping in view of the rising Covid-19 cases, all the 5000 employees unanimously decided to play their bit by donating one day salary for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. “The decision in this regard has been conveyed to Director SKIMS, Soura,” Hussain said—(KNO)
