The employees working under the ambit of National Health Mission which includes RNTCP, NACO, IDSP, NPCDS, COB and Other Programs of the schemes are observing the protest / Strike on December 20, 2017, at Press Club Jammu and Press Enclave Srinagar.
The spokesman said the protest will be held against the long pending genuine demands viz Regularization / Draft Policy for Employees working under the ambit of NHM & Other Schemes.
Government of Jammu And Kashmir has constituted four-member committee vide order no 151-HME of 2017 dated 15-March-2017, in order to look into grievances and demands of NHM Employees of NHM Employees of the state and had set time frame of 2 months to put forward the report to Ministry of Health and Medical Education Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The spokesman said the Committee was supposed to submit their report to Ministry within the stipulated time of two months i.e, by 15th of May 2017. Now more than eight months have passed but the committee has failed to put forward the report to Ministry so far.
