NIA raids residence of fruit merchant in north Kashmir’s Pattan

Baramulla: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday carried out a raid at the residence of a

businessman in Palpora village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official said that NIA sleuths raided the house of Ghulam Muhammad Mir, son of Ali Muhammad Mir, a fruit merchant, on Saturday morning. The search continued for several hours, he said.

Reports said that the agency later took the son of the house owner along with them.
