Srinagar, Jan 05 (KS): No significant weather activity till 14th of this month in Jammu and Kashmir, meteorological department on Friday said.
An official from MeT told news agency Kashmir Scroll that weather will remain mainly dry till 8th January, adding that on 9th January, generally cloudy weather over plains with possibility of light snow over isolated higher reaches.
The official said that from 10th-14th January, weather will remain generally dry.
Regarding the minimum temperatures, the official said that Srinagar, the Summer Capital, shivers at -3.0°C, along with Qazigund at the same temperature.
Kokernag, the official said, reports -2.0°C, while Pahalgam experiences a bone-chilling -4.5°C. Kupwara measures -2.6°C and Gulmarg records -3.5°C, the official said. (KS)
