Ganderbal 08 April (KNZ): Nunner and adjoining areas of Ganderbal district observed a shutdown for second day on Monday to mourn the killing of local militants.
Shops and business including Higher Secondary and Colleges remain closed while as public transport was off the roads.
Government forces were deployed in large numbers in Bandaybagh area and other adjoining areas for the security of highway, while as teams of police and army were deployed on the roads
Local militant,Rahil Rashid Urf Adnan Bhai residents of Nunner, were killed in a gunfight with government forces on Saturday afternoon in Imam Sahib area of Shopain.
Rahil was buried on Sunday after body were handed over to their family.
Rahil reportedly had joined Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit on April 03.KNZ
