Srinagar: Over two dozen residential houses, shops and cowsheds were damaged on Thursday night after an avalanche hit Khandiyal village of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Officials said that on late Thursday evening, over twenty housed were damaged after avalanche hit the village in Gurez.
The avalanche hit the village at around 9:30 pm last night.
They said some shops, cowsheds were also partially damaged, adding that no loss of life was reported in the incident. (KNS)
