Ganderbal 12 Dec (KNZ):Continuing its public reach out programme today on 12-12-2021, District Police Ganderbal organised an interactive meeting with general public of Ganderbal at Police Station Ganderbal, Gund, Lar and Kheerbawani. The meeting was chaired by concerned SHO’s of the above mentioned Police Stations accompanied by Supervisory officers.
The interactive meet was attended by senior citizens, Businessmen, Sumo drivers, Auqaf Committee members and other respectable Citizens of the District.
The public highlighted several issues faced by them like Drug menace, traffic management, unemployment and other social crimes. Besides, general public also highlighted some issues pertaining to civil administration.
While addressing the general public, SHOs of different Police Stations assured them full cooperation in resolving the genuine problems faced by them after discussing them with concerned authorities.
They sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area, besides eradicating various social evils especially drug menace and gambling. They also stressed on the parents to take extra care of their children, so that they do not fall prey to Anti national and Anti social elements.
SHOs further stated that Ganderbal Police is acting strictly against Anti national and Anti social elements especially drug peddlers. During the meet, they also appealed general public/civil society members to help police in identifying such elements so that strict action under law could be initiated against them. They also assured general public that their genuine demands related to civil works shall be put forward to the civil administration for timely redressal.KNZ
