Srinagar: Ruling People’s Democratic Party MLA Qamar Hussain along with his Personal Security Officers (PSOs) have been booked by Police on charges of making an attempt on the life of a local villager in Rajouri district last evening, reports said on Tuesday.
The case has been registered on complaint of Ayaz Ahmed alias Shiki of Pululian Dassal in Rajouri district. However, no one has been arrested so far, reports said.
As per reports Ayaz Ahmed was allegedly abused near Darhali bridge by PDP MLA along with his PSOs.
In his complaint, Ayaz has alleged that the lawmaker and his PSOs attacked him some political issue. He also alleged that the MLA threatened to kill him.
A case FIR No. 336/2017 under sections 307, 341, 34 RPC has been registered at Police Station Rajouri against MLA and his PSOs, sources said.
