Baramulla Oct 17 [KNZ]: Today Residents of Batpora protested against R&B Department at Batpora Kunzer in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district
Whereas the residents of Batpora Kunzer protested and blocked Srinagar-Gulmarg highway at Batpora Kunzer raising slogans against R&B department for not macadamizing the interior read of village, by which the traffic on Highway remained disturbed for hours, which was later restored by the assurance of SHO Kunzer Mr Waqar Ahmad
Meanwhile the protesters demanded the shifting of Stone crushers and Macadam Plants functioning in the village near their residential houses,
Protesters while talking to media said, that the whole population is suffering from different diseases due to the dust and smog of the crushers and plants,
If our demand of Macadamizing the road and shifting of crushers would not be fulfilled within ten days, we will again come on roads, they added
