GANDERBAL 26 OCT: Budding Sports Journalists were today discouraged on Annual day of Physical College Ganderbal.
During felicitation ceremony media professionals were felicitated by Physical College Ganderbal only sidelining sports journalists, who are covering sports in the District.
“It is very unfortunate, Sports journalists were sidelined during felicitation ceremony. Sports journalists are working dedicatedly to highlight sports activities but today they were discouraged on annual day of Physical College” President Ganderbal journalists Association Sheikh Matloob said.
When contacted principal Physical College Ganderbal he Said, we were ignorant about sports journalists, few persons Gave us list of journalists.I will look in the matter why Sports journalists were sidelined.”
Ganderbal journalists Association has termed it very unfortunate.
In statement they Said, “If government really want development and promotions of sports, Sports journalists are indispensable. Sidelining sports journalists is a big discouragment for sports journalists.”
