Ganderbal 04 Feb (KNZ):PMGSY department Ganderbal starts snow clearance drive today early morning following heavy snowfall in the upper areas of Ganderbal district.
The roads here have been covered with a layer of snow and the clearing operations are in the process on early morning of using JCB and Tractors.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ contacted Executive Engineer PMGSY department Ganderbal,he said we have started clearance operation today early morning on main and link roads.
He said men and Machines had been deployed to remove snow from the roads.
He further added,we have completed 75 Km’s out of 145 km’s of road snow clearance under the domain of our department.
He also said our department is on its toes to clear the snow-covered roads to avoid inconvenience to the people of the Ganderbal
Local residents hailed the snow clearance drive started by the PMGSY department.KNZ
