5 notorious criminals booked under PSA

JAMMU November, 11【KNZ】:Tightening its grip over the drug peddlers and criminals, Jammu police booked five notorious criminals from R.S Pura under Public Safety Act. The drive will continue to make the society crime and drug free.
During the year 2016-17 Jammu police arrested Dilbagh Singh son of Janak Singh resident of Simbal Camp Tehsil Miran Sahib. He was involved in six criminal cases registered in police station Miran Sahib and Bahu fort. Tajinder Singh alias Jinda son of Darshan Singh resident of Simbal Camp,involved in nine criminal cases registered in police Station Satwari and Miran Sahib was recommended for detention under PSA and got slapped.
Three other criminals namely Pankaj Singh alias panku, Tajinder Singh alias Happy and Baber Hussain Choudhary, who are involved in a number of criminal cases like Arms and Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, were also detained under preventive Act.
Police is continuing its efforts to book the persons indulging in drug peddling. During this drive a huge quantity of drugs and other substances has been seized and the persons involved arrested.
