Ganderbal:As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Sonamarg.
The meeting was held on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
At the outset, the SHO welcomed the Snow-bike owners, transporters and respectables of Sonamarg in the Police Station Sonamarg.
The chairing officer briefed the participants about the following agenda:
01 : Fair pricing for transportation and Snow biking.
02 : COVID Appropriate Behavior.
03 : Maintenance of cleanliness in and around the areas of tourist hotspots.
04 : Intelligence gathering and information exchange about ANEs and other important aspects for establishing peace in the area.
05 : Exchange of all other important issues lying within the domain of Police and Policing.
Finally, the participants in meeting assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their notions and opinions freely.
