Budgam January 02: In order to bridge the gap between police & public, Police in Budgam facilitated Police Community Partnership Group meeting (PCPG) at Police Station Beerwah.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Beerwah and was attended by respectable citizens, Numbardars, Panchs, Sarpanchs, Traders federation representatives and civil society members of Beerwah and its adjacent areas.
During the meeting, various issues of public interest including drug menace and other public service delivery issues were discussed. All the grievances put forth by attendees were heard patiently and were assured by the chairing officer that all the grievances pertaining to police will be dealt as per law and remaining grievances will be taken up with the concerned departments for early redressal.
During the meeting cooperation of general public was sought in eradication of drug menace and other social crimes from the society. The participants were also stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the areas and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
