Sopore, Oct. 26 (KS): Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh has addressed the issue of the missing special police officer (SPO) in Sopore, expressing concern over the incident.
During his visit to the forward areas of Kupwara DGP, as per the News Agency Kashmir Scroll, he acknowledged that there are confirmed reports of the SPO, Tahir Ahmad Dar, being absent from duty. However, in similar cases, regular police officers have been known to absent themselves without timely notice. Therefore, the police are currently engaged in verifying the details surrounding this particular incident.
Reliable sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that it has been revealed that SPO Tahir Ahmad Dar had been battling depression for a significant period, which could potentially play a role in his sudden disappearance.
Adding another layer of intrigue to the case, it has also been disclosed that the officer got married just four days before his disappearance. (KS)
