July 24: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs, Sopore police along with civil society members destroyed bung cultivation in Badambagh area of Sopore.
The team headed by SHO Sopore destroyed bung cultivation spread on vast tracts of land at Badambagh Sopore.
General public of the area have appreciated the action of Sopore police and have urged them to continue this drive in nearby areas also.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
Our consistent actions against such anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
