Ganderbal, August 25: To bridge the gap between the police and public, a police public meeting was held at Police Station Safapora Ganderbal, today. The meeting was held under the supervision of SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone.
The meeting was attended by a large number of respectable citizens and youth from Safapora, Treesa, Kundabal Mansbal, Kulpora, Pahlipora, Waripora, Batpora, Baghwanpora, Yangpora, Larson and Barso areas of Ganderbal District.
The participants highlighted various issues including the problem of drug abuse and other criminal activities in the areas and assured their full support & cooperation in curbing the unlawful activities.
SSP Ganderbal while speaking on the occasion said that such meetings are being organized to get the valuable suggestions for better policing and added that Jammu and Kashmir police will provide all possible support and help for constructing a peaceful and crime free society.
Referring the issues highlighted by the participants, SSP Ganderbal assured them that issues pertaining to Police, will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for immediate redressal.
Among others DySP Hqrs Shri Rameez Raja, DySP Shri Ashiq Hussain, SHO Safapora and other officers of the district were present on the occasion.
