June 20: Srinagar police organized police public meetings at Police Station Kothibagh and Police Station Maisuma. These meetings were chaired by SDPO Kothibagh Shri Musadiq Basu-KPS.
The meeting at Police Station Kothibagh was attended by the traders of Regal Chowk, Makkah Market, Taxi Stand No. 01 of Lal Chowk and TRC. SHO Police Station Kothibagh was also present in the meeting. The meeting at Police Station Maisuma was attended by the representatives of market committee of Koker Bazar and other respectable citizens. SHO Police Station Masiuma was also present in the meeting.
During these meetings, various issues related to police were raised by participants. The officers present in these meetings assured them that their genuine grievance pertaining to police will be resolved on priority.
