August 13: On 07-08-2018, Police Station Kralgund received a written compliant from a person of Ranin Qaziabad area that his minor daughter (name withheld ) was kidnapped by Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh son of Abdul Gani Sheikh resident of Shanoo Mawer.
On receipt of this complaint, a case FIR No. 76/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered & investigation was started.
During the course of investigation, police raided various suspected places and after strenuous efforts, the victim along with the accused person were recovered.
After completing the medico-legal formalities, the kidnapped girl was handed over to her parents and accused person arrested.
General public have appreciated the role of police in recovering the kidnapped girl.
