GANDERBAL:A police team of Police Station Kheerbawani alongwith magistrate sealed a shop and arrested one shopkeeper at Dangarpora Chowk for violating the lockdown orders issued by the District Magistrate Ganderbal, in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
In this connection a case FIR No. 09/2020 U/S 188 IPC stands registered against the Violator in PS Kheer Bhawani. Investigation in this case has been taken up.
The locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of Police for implementing the safety measures to minimize the spread of the COVID-19.
Ganderbal Police again requests the general public of District Ganderbal to follow the restrictions/advisories imposed by the government and isolate themselves in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for their own well being.
