Ganderbal 17 July【KNZ】:The district police Ganderbal seized logs worth Rs lakhs, belonging to the forest department, that were being smuggled in a Santro car
While on night patrol on Sunday, a team from the Ganderbal police station comprising Dysp Hqr Mr Aashiq Hussain got a tip-off that logs were being smuggled out of Ganderbal,a Santro car was recovered loaded with 9 heavy wooden blocks of timer
However ,The smugglers have managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of darkness.
A case has been registered in the Ganderbal police station under FIR NO.116/2018 U/S 379 RPC and also investigation is ongoing.KNZ
