Anantnag, Jul 01 (KNO): A policeman was on Thursday injured after militants attacked a police party in Lazibal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
Officials said that militants fired a few pistol shots towards the police party at Lazibal, leaving a policeman injured. “The injured policeman was shifted to hospital where his condition is stable,” an official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
He said that the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation was launched to nab the attackers—(KNO)
