BUDGAM 21 JAN【KNZ】:The residents of various Beerwah area including Chewdara, Rathsoon, Meripora, Gondipora Dassan, waragam, C C Pora, Utter pora and other adjacent areas alleged that PDD has failed to provide the adequate electricity during the cold days. They said that PDD is subject them to unscheduled power cuts in the cold days.
They said they are being forced to face tremendous hardship due to the non availability of electricity in their areas. “The authorities have miserable failed to provide adequate electricity. There is no schedule in power now they appeal to the higher authorities that they must provide adequate electricity to them,”
In habitants of Beerwha area appealed PDD chief engineer to take action about the electricity supply.
Besides the other areas one village of the Beerwah area namely Utterpora alleged that 3 months on, PDD fails to repair transformer of the village. we are ignored at all fronts says Gh Hassan a local.
The residents of Najar Mohlla of Utter Pora area of Beerwah are up in arms against power Devlopment department (PDD) for failing to repair their damaged transformer from past four months. As per the locals that authorities are ignoring them at all fronts.
“The village is reeling under darkness from past four months they said, the village is receding in is also facing acute water scarcity. “We are being deprived of every basic facility. Besides electricity we are not getting the water supply as well,” they said.
As per locals that the womenfolk in the area being forced to walk miles to fetch the water. They appealed higher ups to look into matter and redress their genuine grievance at the earliest so that villagers could have a sigh of relief.
