Srinagar, Jun 19 (GNS): Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, Monday ordered for suspension of Incharge Zonal Education Officer, Zone Trehgam.
The order says the suspended ZEO shall remain attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir till his suspension, if at all, is revoked.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, I/c Zonal Education Officer, Trehgam Kupwara is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect in pursuance of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956”, reads an order, a copy of which lies with GNS.
“During the period of his suspension, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat shall remain attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir”, reads the order.
“Further, Mr. Mohammad Rouf Rehman, Joint Director (Central) in the Directorate of School Education Kashmir shall conduct an enquiry in the matter and submit a report along with his recommendations within one month”, reads the order further. (GNS)
