Progress of Aadhaar enrolment reviewed at Ganderbal
GANDERBAL, APRIL 16: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Khurshid Ahmad Shah today held a meeting to review the progress of Aadhaar enrolment in the district.
At the outset, threadbare discussion was held regarding the progress of Aadhaar enrolment besides issues hampering the progress were also discussed.
Reviewing the status of Aadhaar enrolment centers, the ADDC directed the District Coordinator CSC to ensure all enrolment centers are active in the district.
He directed the concerned to identify low coverage areas, villages, panchayats and organize additional Aadhaar camps in such areas to achieve the target.
He also asked the officers to expedite the Aadhaar enrolment process and generate mass awareness about the enrollment drive so that more and more people can be enrolled and they are able to avail benefits of various Government run schemes.
The meeting was attended by CPO, ACP and other district and sectoral officers.
