GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 11: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Khurshid Ahmad Shah today chaired a meeting to review the progress under PM-JAY SEHAT and to discuss in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration process of left out population in the district.

During the meeting, The ADDC sought details regarding registration of beneficiaries under the scheme and status of Golden Cards issued till date in the district.

In order to ensure every citizen of the District is provided a Golden Card to get entitled for benefits under the said scheme, ADDC directed the concerned to establish enrolment counters at Tehsil and Block level in the district besides one counter in Mini Secretariat Complex also.

On the occasion, the ADDC directed all Tehsildars and BMOs to ensure mobilization of the left-out population in their respective jurisdictions by utilizing the services of grass roots level workers so that every citizen is covered under the scheme and are entitled to the benefits of Golden Card.

While finalizing the action plan for providing Golden Cards to all citizens of the district under PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, ADDC asked the Officers of line departments to expedite the process and achieve 100 percent coverage under the set timeline.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Chief Medical Officer, AD, FCS&CA, Tehsildars, BMOs and other concerned.
