Ganderbal : A student of class 12th in Ganderbal Kashmir has accused the examination superintendent of barring him from appearing in 12th Class examination.
Aijaz Ahmed Hajjam, a resident of Satruna in Kangan area of Ganderbal who was appearing in the ongoing class 12 exams on Saturday was barred from entering the exam ten minutes late due to excessive traffic jam in the area.
“I was denied entry into the Examination Center number 34105 at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kangan as i arrived 10 minutes late,” Aijaz told.
As soon as the student reached the examination centre, “the superintendent asked me to get a Covid-19 negative slip from nearby hospital, when i reached back, he denied me entry into the hall and as i requested him to allow me enter, he lost his cool and threatened me,” the student said.
Aijaz alleged that the superintend asked him to approach the court or Police and do whatever was within his power, “I will not allow you to enter the premises of the center.”
He along with his brother approached the office of Chief Education Officer in Ganderbal, who restricted themselves to expressing solidariy with Adil, but did not initiate any action against the accused.
Veena Pandita, The Chairperson of the Board of School Education has said that the matter will be investigated and action will be initiated against the Superintendent.
