Pulwama August 10: Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, a Mega Tiranga Yatra was organised in Pulwama, led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Basharat Qayoom bringing together people from all walks of life symbolizing the enduring spirit of Independence and the shared aspirations of Bharat united under the tricolour , celebrated with patriotic fervor.
The rally witnessed the overwhelming participation of thousands including youth, senior citizens, students and residents from different areas of district.As resonating notes of the national anthem filled the air , the Tiranga Yatra made its way from GDC Boys Pulwama through the bustling main market, culminating in a grand gathering at GDC Women Pulwama. A Plantation was conducted in noble remembrance of martyrs and heartfelt tribute was paid to the bravehearts, freedom fighters, and their families, honoring their sacrifice and valor. A Tiranga Canvas with writings “Jai hind” and “Har Ghar Tiranga” portrayed as a powerful symbol of event.
In his statement, the Deputy Commissioner said, “We are profoundly moved by the remarkable enthusiasm and unwavering support demonstrated by the people of Pulwama for the Tiranga Rally. These rallies have beautifully unified the spirit of our nation, reflecting deep reverence and respect for our bravehearts”,congratulating all residents of Pulwama for such enthusiasm and overwhelming participation.
The event also witnessed participation of Senior Superintendent of Police, Pulwama ,P.D. Nitya along with all District and Sectoral officers and Jawans of Paramilitary Forces and Police. The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2024 not only commemorates the rich history of the nation but also kindled a flame of patriotism that will continue to guide and inspire the community towards a brighter future.
