Srinagar, July 30 (GNS): Police on Saturday identified that second militant killed in a gunfight in forest area of Namibian and Marsar of Dachigam forest in Pulwama district as Sameer Dar.
A police spokesman in a tweet said that Dar was A+ category militant of Pulwama and was also involved in Lethpora attack in February 2019 . “He figured in NIA’s chargesheet,” the tweet reads. “Out of 19 accused, 08 (militants) have been killed so far: IGP Kashmir,” the tweet added as per GNS.
The second militant killed in the gunfight was already identified as “top most” Pakistani militant Mohammad Ismal Alvi alias Lamboo alias Adnan of Jash-e-Mohammad and according to police he was “mastermind” of the Letherpora IED blast in which at least 40 CRPF men were killed in February 2019.
