Ganderbal Jan 17: Pulwama police today distributed many useful items to Kashmir Yateem Welfare Society Pulwama & Government Primary School Drusoo and a scooty to a specially-abled person.
Sponsored under Civic Action Programme, it is an effort by local police to help the students and needy persons of the area.
Items including computer sets, sports kits, kitchen items, mating, stationary items, locker, steel boxes etc were distributed under the supervision of ASP Pulwama Shri Mohammad Anwer-ul-Haq-KPS and DYSP DAR Shri Satish Kumar-KPS. Besides, they handed over a scooty to a specially-able girl.
The school authorities and respectable citizens of the area including youth from different parts of Pulwama participated in the function at District Police Lines Pulwama.
The locals appreciated the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police especially in equipping schools with modern gadgetry.
