Pulwama, Nov 22 (GNS): Inhabitants of twin mohallas – Kumar Mohalla and Chopan Mohalla – in Arigam Tral here in this south Kashmir district are aghast over alleged persisting power outages.
A local delegation told GNS that there are some seventy households in the two localities which have to face a great sort of trouble in absence of proper availability of electricity amid the prevailing cold weather conditions.
The authorities concerned have approved two transformers for each locality, however even after a month, the PDD is yet to install any (transformer), they maintained.
The delegation members urged the authorities to hasten the installation process of transformers to streamline the electricity supply to the localities. (GNS)
