Water supply will be restored within few days:Executive Engineer PHE

Ganderbal(Lar) 27 Mar (KNZ):The residents of Qazi Mohalla Tehsil Lar in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district village Thursday demanded adequate supply of potable drinking water in their area.
The locals lamented that their village is suffering due to the paucity of drinking water. We receive drinking water supply once every 10-15 days. The department is playing with the lives of poor people the residents said.
The residents blamed the authorities of public health engineering (PHE) department for not being able to provide adequate water supply to our area despite a huge chunk of population living in these area.
Despite repeated requests to the concerned authorities, we all are being forced to use contaminated water from the nearby streem and River a local resident told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ
He said they have approached the authorities several times but no action has been taken so far in this matter.
The residents urged upon the administration to look into the issue and redress their grievance.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ contacted Executive Engineer PHE Mohd Aslam Zargar,he assured that water supply will be restored to the area within few days, We don’t want anyone to suffer he added.KNZ
