Qazigund, Feb 16 : The body of a 30-year-old youth from Ramban was recovered from a water canal in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday morning.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the youth identified as Hashimdin Chichey (30) son of Shishu Chichey, a resident of Ramban was found dead by some locals and they accordingly informed the police.
He said that a police team reached the spot and recovered the body. “The deceased was working at a Dhaba in Damjan locality of Qazigund.”
The official said that the body was taken to hospital and proceedings under section 174 CrPc have been initiated in this regard—(KNO)
