Ganderbal, January 6 (KNZ): The Roads and Buildings (R&B) division, Ganderbal, has successfully cleared 80% of the snow from roads and major routes across the division. This significant progress comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to restore normalcy following heavy snowfall.
The snow clearance operation began early in the morning, with priority given to essential routes, including roads leading to hospitals and other critical services. Multiple snow clearance machines and teams were deployed to expedite the process.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted Executive Engineer R&B Tatheer Manzoor,he said we have started clearance operation on link roads of our division Ganderbal and we have completed 315Km’s out of 411 Km’s of road snow clearance under the domain of the division.
“We have managed to clear 80% of the roads in the division, and efforts are underway to cover the remaining areas,” the Executive Engineer stated. “Our teams are working tirelessly to ensure that no area remains inaccessible.”
Residents have praised the swift and efficient work of the R&B Department, which has helped maintain connectivity despite challenging weather conditions. Authorities have advised the public to exercise caution while traveling, as some areas may still experience disruptions.KNZ
