Ganderbal 29 Dec (KNZ):After fresh snowfall in Kashmir had shut most of the roads in the Ganderbal district.
According to reports said that the,R&B division Ganderbal starts Snow clearance operation from yesterday at main Roads and other link roads of Lar,Waliwar,Safapora,Baroosa,Manigam, Shallabugh,Dab,Wakura,Gutlibagh,Urpesh,Nunner,and other areas of Ganderbal district.
The roads here have been covered with a layer of snow and the clearing operations are in the process on early morning of using JCB and Tractors.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted Executive Engineer R&B Tatheer Manzoor,he said we have started clearance operation on link roads of our division Ganderbal and we have completed 430Km’s out of 448 Km’s of road snow clearance under the domain of the division.
He said snow clearance work was taken out all Hospitals and all link roads in our domain and health institution on priority.
Local residents said that Roads and Building (R&B) department is doing great job by starting snow clearance operation on roads and we will not suffer any more.
The local residents have commended contractor Tariq Sofi for his outstanding efforts in clearing snow from the roads.
They also thankful to the R&B department and Executive Engineer R&B for starting snow clearance.KNZ
