Ganderbal 26 Dec (KNZ):Regional Transformer Repair workshop is now fully functional in Ganderbal The workshop is located near Old Power House .
The workshop will help in resolving the issue of repairing transformers within shortest possible time within the district especially in winters.
Locals said that the workshop being functional will resolve our day to day problems of restoration of damaged transformers.
While talking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Exn PDD Mr Javaid Ahmad said that the damaged distribution transformers of Ganderbal district were either dispatched to SSI units or central work shop at Pampor for the necessary repairs.Duration of repairs to these damaged transformers was time consuming especially during winters.
With the help of independent workshop at Ganderbal,the repair time shall be minimized. Exn appealed the consumers for jurdecious use of electricity to avoid the damage to transformers.
The transformers ranging from 25KVA to 250KVA would be repaired in this workshop in first instant and shall be extended to 400/630kva after the making it fully equipped. Around 90-100 damaged transformers would be repaired every month in this workshop with a monthly.KNZ
