26 JAN 20: With the rest of country on the eve of 71st Republic day District Development commissioner Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan unfurled tri color at Gadoora ground in District Ganderbal.
DDC who was accompanied by SSP Ganderbal took the salute at the march-past, which was presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, IRP, Home Guard, PTS Manigam.During speech DDC highlighted the major developmental projects which have been executed after the feedback from people during Back To village programs and informed the status of some projects which are underway across the district.
Besides, School children presented colorful items including traditional folk songs and dance, jawans of CRPF presented traditional Bhangra of Punjab on the occasion which was witnessed by officials of District Administration, Officials of 5RR, police and locals. Later awards for the best performances were conferred to Police officials, Government employee’s students. Meanwhile, Tricolor was unfurled at Kangan as well by Hakeem Tanveer SDM Kangan.
