Pulwama, September 20: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama,Dr.Basharat Qayoom(IAS) continuing his series of office inspections with visit to Tehsil Office Rajpora, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to improving online services and enhancing the efficiency of government operations.
Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Tehsil Office Rajpora, where he paid meticulous attention to various aspects of the office’s functioning. This visit aimed to ensure that the office is well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of the local community.
A thorough review of all the sections including revenue documents and records was undertaken to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the revenue system.The grievance redressal mechanism was scrutinized to enhance responsiveness to citizens’ concerns and complaints.Inspection of various sections within the Tehsil Office aimed to identify areas for improvement and streamline administrative processes.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama underscored the administration’s commitment to modernizing government services and making them more citizen-centric. In an era where digital access plays a pivotal role in governance, the administration is determined to harness technology to facilitate ease of access to services.
DC directed officers and officials to ensure timely disposal of grievances and provision of all services with the timelines of PSGA. Tehsildar was directed to get facelift of the office interiors and premises done and to make it citizen friendly and accessible to specially-abled.
The visit to Tehsil Office Rajpora is part of an ongoing review of offices to create a more responsive adminstration that is better aligned with the needs of the community.
