Ganderbal 11 Aug【KNZ】:Cricket season is in its full flow. In this regard , many tournaments are being played across length and breadth of Kashmir valley.
In Ganderbal district , the Syed Jamaludin Bukhari (RA) Cricket tournament is in its second edition , currently being played in lush green Shallabug ground.
Today , Gulabagh Cricket Club were up against Royal Challengers.
Batting first on sunny afternoon , GCC were bundled out for paltry 94 runs in 18 overs. For Royal Challengers , Shabir Ahmad and Sohail were pick of the bowlers picking 3 wickets for 17 runs and 3 wickets for 15 runs respectively.
Chasing the easy target of 94 runs , Shabir scoring 40 runs and Sameer 32 runs helped Royal Challengers clinching the match.
Meanwhile , Royal Challengers had played Sarfaraz Ahmad today , populary known as Cobra. He bowled a speedy spell with figures of 16 runs from 3 overs and taking 2 wickets. Sarfaraz is one of famous fast bowlers of the valley.
The tournament is being organised by Sheikh Irfan.
