SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 30【KNZ】: Congress Leader ,State Secretary Sahil Farooq Ahmad, today greeted people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
In his message, Congress Leader said this holy day marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whose life was an embodiment of love, equality and brotherhood.
He prayed that the holy day ushers peace, progress and development in the State.
He said that for peace, harmony and brotherhood to prevail we all should follow the path of love and tolerance.
Congress Leader directed the concerned officials to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, besides stressed on maintaining proper cleanliness in and around the famous shrines Hazratbal, Jenab Sahab Soura, Asar Sharief Kailashpora,Zeyarat Shareeb Qamar Sahab Ganderbal,Shah Sadiqalander RA Lar, Kabamarg Anantnag, AhamSharief Bandipora, Pinjoora Shopian and Makhama Beerwah.
He also stressed to provide hassle free transport services to the devotees.
