GANDERBAL 18 April 【KNZ】:Congress Leader Sahil Farooq Wednesday visited Different areas of Ganderbal during his visit Congress Secretary listened to scores of deputations and hundreds of people from hilly areas of Ganderbal.
The demands put forth by the deputations during the day-long public outreach programme included operationalization of Maternity Hospital at watlar, bringing the area on the tourist map, Restoration of electric lines and up gradation of several roads and pacing up of developmental works in the district and other demands.
A deputation of residents of Krishnad Waliwar in lar tehsil demanded augmentation of power infrastructure, pacing up of work on the electric lines and development of roads in their area.
Several deputations from Search,Shahpora,Baderkund sought development of sports in their area,s and release of payments under MGNARAGA ,PMAY centrally schemes which were launched by Congress Govt.early.
A deputation from Faaq complained of scarcity of drinking water in the area, development of sports field and up-gradation of school.
Sahil Farooq visited Khalmulla area to personally condole with the family of congress District Secretary, Peer Gh.Nabi his son in law had passed away few days back after being ill for some time , senior politic leader Ab.Rasheed his son had passed two days back and Congress worker at waliwar his wife had passed away recently.
The Congress Secretary sat with the family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to them. he also prayed for peace to the departed souls.KNZ
