Ganderbal, February 16:- District Office J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd. today conducted an awareness camp at Beehama Ganderbal to aware the general public about the welfare schemes of the corporation.
The camp was organized with an aim to sensitize the general public especially to target group’s viz. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Handicapped Persons (Male members), Safai Karamcharies, and National Minorities (Male members).
The camp was attended by District Manager Srinagar/Ganderbal Arif Haleem Khan, officials of the department besides large number of people of district Ganderbal.
On the occasion District Manager Srinagar/Ganderbal highlighted the benefits of the various schemes of the Corporation, especially educational loan for students of the target group for pursuing professional and Technical courses in India and abroad.
During the camp information broachers, loan application forms were distributed to the participants for availing soft loan from the corporation.
