KARGIL, FEBRUARY 15, 2021: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Sonam Dorjay conducted a public darbar at Lower Kumic Zanskar here today.
Block Medical Officer Zanskar, Block Development Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Zonal Education Officer, representatives of Zanskar Development Authority and FCS&CA Zanskar besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
During the public darbar, the villagers raised their issues and demands before the SDM and the sub divisional level officers which were patiently heard by the SDM and other officers.
SDM Zanskar assured the locals during the public darbar that proposal for adoption of Lower Kumic as model village in Stongday Panchayat Halqa would be taken up with the higher authorities in due course of time. He issued on spot instructions to the concerned departments to prepare detailed projects for submission to higher authorities for early sanctioning.
A colorful cultural programme was also presented by the villagers on the occasion.
