Srinagar CNS, July 5: The river police continued searches for the fifth consecutive day to trace to the body of the youth drowned five days ago.
Sources told CNS that the body of Mohammad Ashraf Zulla who drowned at Zaina Kadal is yet to be traced but the river police has continued its searches for the fifth consecutive day.
While talking to CNS, Sameer Ahmad who was part of searching group said, “we are making strenuous efforts to trace body of the drowned person but we haven’t succeeded yet”
He added that they are searching for the fifth consecutive day.
It is pertinent to mention that in most of the drowned cases the body was fished out 5-6 days from the river Jhelum. (CNS)
