Srinagar, October 02: Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Sunday said that a local Lashkar-i-Toiba militant was killed in Shopian, who recently had managed to escape from a encounter.
The Kashmir Police Zone while quoting ADGP Kashmir tweeted, “Killed militant identified as Naseer Ahmad Bhat of Nowpora Baskuchan Shopian, linked with LeT militant oufit. Incriminating materials, arms & ammn including AK rifle recovered. He was involved in several militancy crimes and recently escaped from an encounter,”.(GNS)
