Shopian villages on high alert

Srinagar : Government forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in ten villages of Shopian district in south Kashmir following inputs about the presence of some militants.
Official sources said that a Joint team of army, SOG and CRPF launched CASO in Chakoora, Mantribug, Zaipora, Pratabpora, Takipora, Ranipora, Ratnipora, Dangam and Wangam.

Meanwhile search operation in south Kashmir villages was on when last reports came.
