Ganderbal 25 MAR (KNZ): Forest Division Ganderbal in collaboration with Media fraternity Ganderbal and Govt Girls School preng organised a plantation drive on Monday at Gutlibagh Preng in Ganderbal.
The plantation drive was jointly inaugurated by DFO Ganderbal Mr Owais Ahmad Mir, Media fraternity and DO Gutlibagh Mr Khalid
Around 200 saplings of different conifer species like deodar/kail were planted in the area which saw the participation of students and persons of media fraternity.
The DFO Ganderbal interacted with the students and demonstrated to them the techiques of planting. He stressed upon the need for involvement of students in the plantation drives so that they are able to associate with such plants and ensure their proper care.KNZ
