Ganderbal:- A 15 days skill development training program by The Ministery of Road Transport& Highways GoI under RPL Skill Development Program of MoRTH. conducted by Basker Foundation concluded here at Gaganigar Z-Morh Tunnel site in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Saturday.
Officials said that the aim of such skill development training program is promote skill upgradation given benefit to lakhs of unskilled and under- skilled local, unemployed youth in the near future.
Officials said that this scheme, training and assessment fees are paid completely by the Government. The scheme also has a provision of payment of stipend to the trainees to compensate for wage loss during training period. The stipend is directly transferred to Aadhar linked bank account of the trainee without any mediators or commission.
CEO Bhaskar Foundation Sanjay ganjoo on the occasion said that the initiative of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways was the first initiative of this scale by any Ministry. He stressed upon the need for extensive training of the country’s work force in the emerging trades and technologies for realizing the dream of building a new India.
Dignitaries also awarded certificates and about 500 free Tool Kits of participation to the trainees during the valedictory function at Public Park Gaganigar.
The occasion was also attended by General Manager NHIDCL, Senior engineers of Branch office NHIDCL Gagangir ,Sonmarg. Ilfs representative also attend the function and state head a programme coordinator AMJAD ALI organised the event.
