Ganderbal 04 Jan (KNZ):After fresh snowfall in Kashmir had shut most of the roads in the Ganderbal district.R&B department starts Snow clearance operation at main Road and other link roads of Gutlibagh area of central Kashmiri’s Ganderbal district.
The roads here have been covered with a layer of snow and the clearing operations are in the process of using machinery JCB.
When Contacted Junior Engineer R&B Hilal Ahmad,he said we have started clearance operation on main roads and will be completed clearance process today afternoon.
Local residents said that Roads and Building (R&B) department is doing great job by starting snow clearance operation on roads and we will not suffer any more.
They also thankful to the JE Hilal Ahmad and Executive Engineer R&B for starting snow clearance.
Higher reaches of the Ganderbal district witnessed heavy snowfall on Sunday night.
The Srinagar leh Highway road also closed for traffic from 01 Jan 2021 till further order.KNZ
