Ganderbal 20 Mar (KNZ):Snow drive to sonamarg organised by Ganderbal Police and Civil Adminstration Incollaboration with Extreme off roads
The event was flagged off by Nikhil Borker IPS Superintendent of Police Ganderbal near Manigam park.More than 15 vehicles participated in the event enthusiastically.
The event aimed to promote adventure tourism and other off-road activities was held as a part of snow adventure tourism by Ganderbal Police in collaboration with Xtreme off roads.
SSP said the aim behind organising such events was to refine sports talent and strengthen bonds with people.
The officer said the police organisation would continue its efforts to inspire youth towards sports and for this purpose such events would be held at different levels.
Borker also said the JKP was introducing a new sports policy under which various initiatives would be taken to encourage sports persons to excel at different levels.
